Liubomir Iliev MBA, MCMI has extensive experience in the logistics and transportation industry. Liubomir is currently the Managing Director of VTG AG, a leading company in wagon hire and rail logistics in Europe. Prior to this, they worked as a Professional Freelancer in Logistics Management and as the General Manager of BDZ CARGO, where they had significant responsibilities in coordinating various aspects of the business. Liubomir also held the role of Sales and Marketing Director at Merchandiser Service LTD and worked as a Sales, Marketing, and Business Development consulting partner at Eurobrands LTD. Additionally, they served as the Managing Director of RAIL CARGO CARRIER BULGARIA, where they successfully built a strategic business plan and implemented a Safety and Quality Management System. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as Board Member at Airport Gorna Oriahovitsa and Sales & Marketing Director at Holding Bulgarian State Railways EAD, where they played a key role in building new sales and marketing structures. Liubomir started their career as the Commercial Director at Ototop Bulgaria Jsc.

Liubomir Iliev obtained a Master's Degree in Logistic and Transport from the Chartered Institute of Logistic and Transport between 2016 and 2018. Liubomir also completed a 7 level strategic management and leadership diploma in Startegic Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute from 2009 to 2013. In 2009, they earned an Executive MBA as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Sheffield, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Liubomir also holds a Certificate in Professional Program in General Management and Marketing from Business Education for International Economic Development in Seattle, USA, completed in 2006. Liubomir obtained a Master's degree in International Trading from Stopanska akademija 'Dimitr Ĉenov' between 1995 and 1999. Additionally, Liubomir completed a Master's degree in Machine Engineering with a focus on Production Management from Technical University Sofia between 1987 and 1992. Liubomir also obtained a certification in Marketing Management from IBEIED in October 2006.
