Luana Badiu

Luana Badiu is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in infrastructure investment and corporate finance. Currently serving as Principal at Global Infrastructure Partners since January 2011, Luana focuses on deal origination, execution, and post-acquisition value creation, particularly in transport infrastructure assets. Additionally, Luana holds Non Executive Director positions at Edinburgh Airport and VTG since late 2019 and early 2023, respectively. Prior experience includes a role as an Investment Banker at Macquarie Group, specializing in corporate finance advisory in the infrastructure sector from August 2008 to December 2010. Luana's educational background includes an MSc in Finance from Alliance Manchester Business School and a BSc in International Business from Academia de Studii Economice din București, alongside an exchange program at NYU Stern School of Business in Finance and Economics.
