Niklas Werth

Niklas Werth is a data scientist currently working at VTG since February 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Masterand in Data Science at Mercedes-Benz AG from September 2021 to September 2022, where the thesis focused on instance level recognition with few training samples. Niklas also contributed as a Werkstudent Data Scientist at Mercedes-Benz AG, researching neural networks on neuromorphic hardware and generating datasets for both audio and text data. Earlier experience includes a Werkstudent position at Bosch, applying deep neural networks for automated optical inspection, a machine learning internship at oddity involving object detection and NLP-based search tools, and a technical specialist role at Apple Store. Niklas holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Media from Stuttgart Media University, completed in 2022, and a Bachelor of Science in Medieninformatik from the same institution, completed in 2020.
