Steven Craft has a long and varied work experience in the tech industry, starting in 2004 as a Programmer for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Steven then moved to Travellers Tales in 2006 as Lead Programmer. In 2011, they began working for Paw Print Games as MD/CTO. In 2013, they began working as a Course Mentor for Games Development Course at the University of Chester. In 2014, they were granted an honorary role as a Research Assistant at University College London. In 2015, they co-founded Kingsman Software Solutions and served as Company Director. In 2016, they were appointed as an Export Champion for the Department for International Trade (DIT) and also became a Member of the Board for the Greater Manchester Export Fund, Manchester Growth Hub. Finally, in 2019 they began working for vTime as Chief Operating Officer and Tech Director.

Steven Craft has a varied educational background. Steven attended Mark Hall Comprehensive from 1995 to 2000, where they earned their GCSEs in English, Maths, Science, Music, and Geography. Steven then attended Harlow College from 2000 to 2002, where they earned their AS/A levels in Computing, Maths, Physics, Music, and Music Technology. Finally, they attended Liverpool John Moores University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a degree in Computer Games Technology with a focus on Programming. In addition to these formal qualifications, Craft has also obtained several certifications and awards, including the ACE (Accurev Certified Engineer) in 2009, Grade 5 Piano from ABRSM in 2005, Grade 5 Saxophone from ABRSM in 2001, and Duolingo Spanish and French Fluency: Advanced (Estimated) in 2017 and 2015 respectively.
