Sangita Tirkey has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. sangita began their career as a Jewellery Designer Trainee at Davanam Jewellers, then moved to Pallavi Foley Boutique Jewels as a Trainee. In 2012, they also began working as a Merchandiser Trainee at Ramayana Handicrafts. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Visual Merchandiser and Jewelry Designer at C. Krishnaih Chetty & Sons Pvt Ltd. From 2019 to the present, they have worked as a Guest Faculty at both DQ Labs Private Limited and JD Institute of Fashion Technology Official. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Project Coordinator at VueData.

Sangita Tirkey's education history includes a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from the School of Interior Design CEPT, which they obtained between 2007 and 2010. sangita then went on to obtain a B.A. Hon. in Jewelry Design from the Pearl Academy of Fashion between 2010 and 2013. Prior to that, they attended Sacred Heart Convent from 1992 to 2006.
