JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Applications Engineer to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging the technical and commercial aspects of our microLED products. This position will involve supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, and assisting customers in integrating our microLED cartridges into their applications. The Applications Engineer will be instrumental in driving customer satisfaction and ensuring that clients are maximizing the benefits of our products. 

       YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and identify opportunities for microLED cartridge applications.
  • Provide technical support and training to the sales team to enhance their understanding of microLED technology and product offerings.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to clients showcasing the features and benefits of our microLED cartridges.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and documentation for customers, including data sheets, application notes, and integration guidelines.
  • Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions to address inquiries and provide solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Work with R&D and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and requirements for product improvements and new product development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and advancements in microLED technology to provide informed recommendations and insights to the sales team.
  • Support the development of marketing materials and technical content for promotional purposes.
  • Forge and nurture solid and sustainable relationships with strategic partners and key accounts.

       TOOLS/SKILLS YOU NEED FOR YOUR ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on microLED technology or display systems.

  • Strong technical knowledge of microLED design, manufacturing processes, and applications.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in technical sales or applications engineering.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to support customer engagements and product demonstrations.
