Edward Goikhman

Chief Architect at Vulcan Cyber

Edward Goikhman has a wealth of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, and leadership roles. Edward began their career in 2007 as a Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University, where they reviewed and graded weekly homework for freshman year CS students. In 2008, they began working for the Israel Defense Forces, where they held various roles including Head of R&D, Data Networks, Team Leader, Surveillance, C4I, and Head of R&D, C4I. In 2009, they joined Bezeq International as a T1 Support Engineer, providing technical support and troubleshooting for Internet connectivity and quality issues. In 2014, they became VP Engineering at BackBox and Lead Software Engineer, developing on-prem LAMJ server and AngularJS web-app and introducing market-expanding solutions. In 2018, they joined monday.com as an Infrastructure Back-End Engineer, developing the shared infrastructure for the main Ruby on Rails web-app and the Node.js microservices running on AWS Beanstalk. In 2019, they joined Vulcan Cyber as Chief Architect and Senior Software Engineer, creating a technological roadmap to rapidly scale x1,000 and expand to new territories, designing a low-code/no-code solution, and developing data ingestion pipelines and Angular web-app for analysis and driving of cyber-risk remediation efforts.

Edward Goikhman obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer and Software Engineering from Tel Aviv University between 2004 and 2008. In February 2013, they obtained a CCNA certification from Cisco.
