Syed Zia Uddin, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience. Syed Zia started working as an Engineering Trainee at Mymensingh Power Station, R.P.C.L. in 2015. After that, they served as a Lecturer at Daffodil International University and as a Research Engineer at the Military Institute of Science and Technology in 2016.

In 2016, Syed joined The University of Texas at El Paso as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they worked until 2018. During this time, they gained valuable experience in research.
