Amanda Rivera has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Amanda began their career at Uniparts USA Ltd in 2007, where they played a key role as the Senior Logistics Lead in establishing and managing the HR, Procurement, and Logistics departments. Amanda then joined The Clorox Company in 2009 as a Global Strategic Sourcing Sr. Buyer, responsible for optimizing suppliers in the global supply chain and implementing best sourcing practices.
In 2013, Amanda joined The Coca-Cola Company and took on various roles, including Senior Procurement Manager and Director of Procurement- Commercial. In these positions, they led cross-functional teams, mentored associates, and focused on building strong relationships with key business partners. Amanda also implemented turnaround initiatives to drive profit gains and sustainability in procurement operations.
Amanda's career continued to progress, and in 2018, they transitioned to Coca-Cola Bottlers' Sales and Services as the Senior Procurement Director, and later as the Vice President of Procurement at Vulcan Materials Company in 2021, where they are currently responsible for strategic procurement initiatives and leading high-performing teams.
Throughout their career, Amanda has demonstrated their expertise in procurement strategy, supply chain management, and building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Amanda has consistently delivered results and played a vital role in driving revenue growth and cost optimization in their organizations.
Amanda Rivera earned a BBA degree in Management and Marketing from Mercer University's Stetson School of Business and Economics in the years 2000 to 2004. Later, they completed an MBA degree in Operations Management at Augusta State University's College of Business Administration from 2005 to 2007.
