Kelly van Kovering

Kelly Van Kovering has extensive work experience in environmental compliance and management. Kelly started their career at SBC Communications, Inc. (now AT&T) in 1994 and held various positions, including Area Manager, Environmental Management. In this role, they created and improved EH&S departments and led cross-functional teams in developing new environmental systems and policies. In 2005, they joined Vulcan Materials Company as the Environmental Manager for the Central Region. During their time there, they successfully created a customer-focused support organization with sustainable environmental processes and developed a high-performing team. Kelly later became the Corporate Environmental Manager and then the Director of Environmental Compliance, where they directed and led the activities of the Division Environmental teams to promote regulatory compliance and permit management. Kelly has a proven track record in creating solutions that balance business needs with regulatory requirements.

Kelly Van Kovering has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health from Purdue University. Kelly also has a Masters of Public Health degree in Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences from the University of Illinois Chicago.
