Brian Green

Brian Green is a Chief Technology Officer at Vulcan Biologics, with a strong background in research and development within the biotechnology industry. Previously, Brian held senior positions at Glycobia, Inc., Sample6, and Joule Unlimited Technologies, Inc., where Brian focused on genetic engineering and optimizing gene expression for biofuel production. With extensive experience as a Principal Scientist at Verenium (now part of BASF), Brian managed teams and external collaborations for the acquisition of environmental samples for various applications. Brian holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a BS in Botany/ Plant Pathology from the University of Maine.
