George Neko

George Neko is an experienced telecommunications professional with a robust background in network maintenance and technical support. Currently serving as an Area Network Owner at Vumatel since June 2023, George provides on-site technical support for troubleshooting, installations, and problem-solving. Prior to this role, George worked as a Telecommunications Technician at BritelinkMCT from February 2016 to May 2023, focusing on Gpon Network installations, maintenance, and cutovers. George's career began at Telkom SA, where from March 2000 to February 2014, responsibilities included copper cable maintenance and the installation and troubleshooting of ADSL, data, and voice services. George holds a CFOT degree in Fibre Optics obtained in 2017 and an N6 diploma in Electrical Engineering Technologies from Ekhuruleni West College completed in 1999.
