Thomas Jakobsen

Thomas Jakobsen is an experienced professional with a strong background in public administration and leadership. Currently serving as Underdirektør at Vurderingsstyrelsen since October 2022, Thomas previously held the position of Director of Business Development at cBrain, where the focus was on digitizing government and public services. Thomas has extensive experience at Københavns Kommune, where roles included Direktør in Kultur- og Fritidsforvaltningen, responsible for the development of 14 units with 1650 employees, and Koncerndirektør for Københavns Borgerservice, overseeing around 500 staff in the transformation of public service delivery through digitalization. Earlier professional roles included positions in the military as a reserve officer and various leadership roles in municipal secretariats. Thomas holds a Cand.jur. degree from the University of Copenhagen and a Master of Public Administration from Copenhagen Business School, among other qualifications in management and leadership.
