Megan Kierce Amabile has a diverse work experience. Megan began their career in 2014 as a Summer Intern at the Jersey City Office of Emergency Management. In 2015, they held the role of Workers' Compensation Technical Assistant at Claims Resolution Corporation, Inc., where they assisted the Worker's Compensation team with claim preparation and investigations, sorted mail and date stamped and distributed documents, maintained procedures and assisted with bill processing and data entry for invoicing, and was responsible for office inventory supplies including ordering, stocking and distribution. Megan also had experience in light litigation regarding claim petitions and minor involvement with developing the HR program. From 2016 to 2022, they worked as a Legal Assistant at Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla, providing assistance for 2 Shareholding Partners and 1 Associate Attorney in the Bankruptcy Department. Her responsibilities included opening and closing front desk Reception, answering multi-line phone calls, screening and directing callers to the correct departments, organizing daily FedEx, UPS and Courier packages for submission to clients, coordinating calendar appointments, travel and meeting/conference room details, document distribution including scanning, copying, and faxing upon client request, scheduling up to 20 weekly meetings with new and current clients, drafting notification letters, legal documents, and transmittal items for mailings, notarizing legal documents for submission to the court system and filing appropriate documents using eCourts and Pacer. Currently, they are a Legal Assistant at Vydia.
Megan Kierce Amabile obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Law and Society from Ramapo College of New Jersey between 2011 and 2015. Megan also holds a Notary Public Commission from the State of New Jersey, which they obtained in August 2021.
