Emilio Casco

Emilio Casco has extensive work experience in visual design and art direction. Emilio is currently working as a Sr. Visual Designer at Vyond since July 2022. Prior to that, Emilio worked as a freelance visual designer from January 2006.

Emilio has held several senior positions in well-known companies such as WANdisco, where they worked as a Sr. Art Director from March 2021 to November 2021. In this role, they supported the entire organization in designing and creating a wide range of marketing materials. Emilio also worked as a Contract Graphic Designer at WANdisco from May 2020 to March 2021.

Emilio also worked at View, Inc as a Sr. Creative Design Manager from March 2019 to April 2020, and at Sage as an Art Director/Sr. Visual Designer from June 2016 to March 2019. In these roles, they developed creative ideas and designs for various marketing campaigns across different platforms.

Furthermore, Emilio has experience as a Sr. Visual Designer (Contract) at Sumo Logic from December 2015 to June 2016, where they were responsible for taking projects from concept to completion and creating detailed style guides. Emilio also worked as a Sr. Visual Designer (contract) at Seagate Technology from June 2015 to December 2015, where they designed wireframes and high-fidelity mock-ups for product description pages.

Earlier in their career, Emilio worked as a Sr. Graphic Designer at Cloudera from August 2013 to April 2015, as a Visual Designer Contractor at GoPago from May 2013 to August 2013, and as a Sr. Graphic Designer at Riverbed Technology from April 2006 to May 2013.

Emilio Casco's education history begins in 1998 when they attended The Art Institutes and pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Graphic Design, which they completed in 2000. After a gap of several years, in 2015, they enrolled in General Assembly and completed a UX Design Course, for which they received a Certificate of Completion.

In addition to their formal education, Emilio has pursued additional certifications. In August 2016, they obtained a certification in "Creating a Responsive HTML Email" from Lynda.com, and they also completed courses in "iOS App Development: Essential Courses" from the same institution. In March 2017, they achieved certification as a "Front-end Web Developer." Furthermore, they have completed the Google UX Design Professional Certificate, which was obtained through Coursera in collaboration with Google, although the exact month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
