Rod Favaron

Board Member at Vyopta Incorporated

Rod Favaron is currently a board member at Vyopta Incorporated. Rod has previously served as the CEO of Lombardi Software and Spredfast. Favaron has also been a board member for Bypass POS.

Favaron began their career as an engineer and software developer. Rod then transitioned into management, first serving as the CEO of Lombardi Software from 2002 to 2010. In 2010, IBM acquired Lombardi and Favaron served as the CEO of the company until 2011.

In January 2011, Favaron became the Chairman and CEO of Spredfast. Rod grew the company from pre-revenue to nearly $100mm in enterprise SaaS sales. In October 2018, Vista Equity Partners acquired Spredfast and merged it with another portfolio company, Lithium Technologies, to create the world's leading digital customer experience company.

Favaron has also served on the board of Bypass POS, which was acquired by FiServ in July 2019.

Rod Favaron's educational career began with a BS in Industrial Engineering from Louisiana State University. Rod then went on to earn an MBA in Management and Marketing from The University of Dallas.
