Sharon Lasure-Roy

Sharon LaSure-Roy has over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications. Sharon is currently the Vice President of Social Marketing at VyStar Credit Union, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this role, Sharon worked at Florida Blue, where they served as a Senior Consultant in Social Media and Digital Communications from 2012 to 2021. Sharon was responsible for managing the corporate reputation and brand voice, developing and executing digital promotions, and overseeing the creative marketing process. Before Florida Blue, Sharon held various marketing and communications roles at Incepture, Diversified Clinical Services, H&R Block, Paquin Healthcare Companies, Florida Hospital, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, the Matt Carlucci Mayoral Campaign, and the Jacksonville City Council. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in strategic marketing processes, brand development, communication strategies, and digital content creation.

Sharon LaSure-Roy attended Northwestern University for their Master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from 1990 to 1992. Sharon also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art and Communications from Hood College from 1985 to 1989. Additionally, Sharon completed the Leadership Orlando program in Class 68 in 2004.
