Zdenek Simek

Zdenek Simek has extensive experience in human resources and leadership, holding significant positions since the late 1990s. Currently serving as the Human Resources Vice President at VZP and Chairman of the Board at The Union of Banks and Insurance Companies, Zdenek leads major collective negotiations and represents the financial market in international forums. Additionally, Zdenek is the owner and head of REVITCOM.eu, focusing on revitalizing small and medium enterprises. A board member of the Foundation of Professor Charvát, Zdenek supports medical practices, while previous roles include Vice President for Social Dialogue at ČSRLZ and academic positions at VSEM and MUVS. Zdenek's educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Economics from the Technical University of Liberec and multiple degrees from Sheffield Hallam University and the Czech University of Agriculture in Prague.
