Frank Zhang

Frank Zhang is an accomplished Organic Chemist at WHPM, Inc. since October 2018, where responsibilities include supervising and drafting FDA 510(k) summaries and conducting clinical studies for fecal occult blood testing. Previously, at the University of Pennsylvania as a Graduate Research Assistant, Frank executed a literature review on radical-polar crossover reactions and presented findings. Frank also gained experience as a Process Development Chemist Co-op at GSK, validating screening plates for photoredox reactions, and as a Graduate Assistant at UPenn, preparing high-purity alkyl-silicates. Early experience includes tutoring chemistry and mathematics and conducting undergraduate research on quantum chemical calculations. Frank holds a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Arizona State University.
