Michel Moser

Michel Moser is a bioinformatician specializing in proteomics at Labor Spiez since August 2022, with a background as a data scientist at w hoch 2 and Insel Gruppe from July 2017 to July 2023. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral research position at NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences, focusing on long-read genome assembly of Salmonid species, as well as methodological work during a PhD in bioinformatics at the University of Bern, which involved plant genome assembly using third-generation sequencing technologies. Moser's academic journey at the University of Bern culminated in a Doctor of Philosophy degree in bioinformatics in 2018, following a Master of Science in Plant Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Botany/Plant Biology. Early career engagement included a role as a landscaper at Paradies Gärten from June 2003 to July 2008.
