Matt Hines

Matt Hines has extensive work experience in the engineering and project management field. Matt worked at BWX Technologies, Inc. from 2003 to 2019, starting as a Manufacturing Engineer and progressing to Lead Project Engineer, Engineering Unit Manager, Engineering Department Manager, and finally Project Manager. In their role as Project Manager, Matt successfully managed the startup and manufacture of key components for a high-priority program for the US Department of Defense. Matt also played a significant role in capturing new business opportunities, creating job opportunities, and developing strategies and proposals that resulted in the acquisition of $180 million in competitively bid contracts. Matt had regular communication with top-level executives, government officials, and suppliers, demonstrating their strong interpersonal and leadership skills. In 2019, they joined W International as the Vice President of Programs and later became the Chief Business Officer in 2020.

Matt Hines earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from Murray State University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. After completing their undergraduate program, they pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Southern Indiana. Matt attended the University of Southern Indiana from 2003 to 2006.
