Director Of Engineering at W Motors

Christian Jansen has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Christian is currently the Director of Engineering at W Motors, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the CTO at Gaius Automotive, Inc. from August 2010 to October 2023.

Before their role at Gaius Automotive, Inc., Jansen served as the Chief Engineer at DP7 Racing from August 2006 to August 2010. During their time there, they successfully managed a project to redesign the FEAD vibration control device for profitability and durability improvement, which is now in production.

Jansen began their career as a Development Manager at Motion Concept Vehicles from July 1995 to February 1999. In this role, they led the design of the company's all-composite supercar, including structure, suspension, driveline, and aerodynamics.

Prior to that, Jansen gained experience as an Engineering Assistant at Vector Aeromotive from September 1991 to December 1991 as part of their university work term placement. In this position, they contributed to the building of a full-scale mockup of the Vector Avtech prototype and participated in the preparation, maintenance, and fabrication of Vector W8 automobiles.

Christian Jansen obtained an Ontario High School Diploma from the University of Toronto Schools in 1990. Christian then pursued a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering / Composite Materials at the University of Waterloo from 1990 to 1997.
