Dave Doran

Dave Doran has an extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Dave started their career in 1967 with an AIESEC traineeship at an educational establishment. In the same year, they also worked as a Financial Analyst at W. R. Grace & Company. Later, they became the Head of Financial Planning Europe at W. R. Grace and Director of Turnaround Strategy & Implementation at J & L F Goodbody Ltd Textile Manufacturer, both in 1967. In 1968, they joined Development Capital Corporation as a Senior Executive and Member of the start-up team.

Dave also has experience as an owner and CEO of Petersen Ltd., a food importer and distributor, and a tech start-up called Total Control Systems Ltd. Dave served as the Managing Partner of Medical Dynamics, specializing in IP and licensing. Dave was the CEO and shareholder of Marlborough Estates Ltd, a property development company. Additionally, Dave was a founding investor and shareholder of DataLase Ltd, which was later sold to Sato Holdings of Japan in 2017.

Dave Doran holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business from Harvard Business School. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Economic Science (M.ECON.SC) degree in Finance, General from University College Dublin. Dave also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree in Accounting and Finance from the same institution.
