Raul Ayala, PhD, is a seasoned engineering and technology professional with extensive experience in catalyst development, process management, and research across various industries, including energy, chemicals, and polymers. Currently serving as Sr. Process Technology Manager at W. R. Grace & Co. since 2018, Raul leads a team focused on new catalyst technologies within the polyolefins sector. Prior roles include Technology Development Consultant at REA Technology Consultants, where advisory services were provided to academia and industry, and Sr. Principal Engineer at GE Power, where Raul developed substantial technology programs resulting in significant growth opportunities. With a solid academic foundation, including a PhD and MS from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS from the University of Nevada, Reno, Raul has made notable contributions to advancing chemical process technologies and engineering innovations.
