Ray Palumbo

Gen. Palumbo recently retired from the US Army where he was the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Intelligence) for Warfighter Support, and simultaneously served as Director, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Task Force. He served on the Darley Defense Advisory Board for two years prior to his appointment on the corporate board.

A native of Windber, Pennsylvania, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Infantry upon graduating from West Point in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He later earned a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College.

His awards include the Distinguished Service Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, and the Bronze Star Medal.
