Sydney Hood

Sydney Hood is an accomplished multimedia journalist currently working at WRDW/WAGT News 12 since June 2022. With extensive experience in various roles within journalism and media production, Sydney served as President of DiGamma Kappa, where significant organizational and logistical responsibilities were managed. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Production Manager at Grady Newsource, where oversight of a 20-member team was provided, as well as reporting on crucial political content. Sydney has also contributed as a radio show host and news writer at WUOG 90.5 FM and held an internship at the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, focusing on creating engaging programming for pediatric patients. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Georgia.
