Julia Scales

Julia Scales is a Strategic HR Business Partner at Grainger, with experience in leading organizational initiatives to enhance scalability and improve employee engagement. Prior to Grainger, Julia served as a Sr. HR Partner at Zebra Technologies, contributing to the internal fill rate increase and developing an Organizational Effectiveness Playbook. Julia held various HR roles at ITW, including HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition & Leadership Development Associate, where efforts led to increased diversity in the leadership pipeline and effective talent management strategies. Julia also served as a Board Member for Chicago SHRM and gained experience in project management through a role at Pearson plc. Julia holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business with a minor in Anthropology/Sociology from Rhodes College.
