Timothy Pien

Timothy Pien is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in tax analysis and consultancy, currently serving as a Senior Tax Analyst at Grainger since February 2023. Prior roles include Senior Tax Analyst for US State & Local at Mondelēz International from September 2019 to January 2023 and Senior Associate at Martin Hood from August 2017 to August 2019. Pien gained foundational experience as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte Tax LLP from August 2014 to July 2017, and a Multistate Intern at Deloitte in 2014. Additional experience includes a Judicial Intern position at Middlesex Superior Court and a Finance Intern role at International Justice Mission. Pien's legal foundation is supported by a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, obtained in 2015, following a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the same institution in 2012.
