Kate Martinez

Kate Martinez is a seasoned professional in occupational therapy with extensive experience in project leadership and management within the healthcare sector. Currently, Kate serves as a Senior Project Officer at the Department of Health (WA Health) since August 2025. Prior to this, Kate worked as an Allied Health Project Lead at iLA from February 2024 to July 2025 and held multiple roles at Independent Living Assessment from October 2019 to January 2023, including Occupational Therapist and Peer Support Lead, as well as AT Chat Occupational Therapist and Service Designer. Kate's career began at the Autism Association of Western Australia, where Kate worked as an Occupational Therapist from June 2015 to September 2019. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Curtin University and a Graduate Certificate in Special Education: Complex Communication Needs from Edith Cowan University.
