Peter Varnai

Peter Varnai has a diverse work experience in the fields of software development, research, and engineering. Peter is currently working as a Software Developer at Waabi since December 2022. Prior to that, they were a Visiting Researcher at Stanford University from April 2022 to June 2022. In 2017, Peter worked as a Visiting Student Research Collaborator at Princeton University for a brief period from April 2017 to June 2017. Peter also has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Delft University of Technology from February 2016 to March 2017. Peter started their career with internships at Knorr-Bremse, where they worked as an Engineer Intern. Peter worked on developing testing environments and models for commercial vehicle brake systems using languages like Perl, AngelScript, MATLAB, and Simulink. Peter'sinternships at Knorr-Bremse were in 2014 and 2015.

Peter Varnai pursued their education in a chronological order. Peter started by attending ELTE Apáczai Csere János Gyakorlógimnázium from 2006 to 2011. Peter then enrolled at Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Afterwards, they continued their studies at Delft University of Technology from 2015 to 2017, earning a Master's degree in Systems & Control. Currently, Peter is enrolled at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they began in 2017 and is expected to graduate in 2022 with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Automatic Control.
