Michèle Thole

Michèle Thole has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Michèle most recently worked at Waag as the Finance Director, where they were responsible for developing products, services, and practices aimed at achieving social innovation. Prior to that, they held the position of Finance & HR Director at the same company. Before Waag, Michèle was the Manager of Finance & Control at BACKBASE. Michèle also worked as a Financieel Interimmer at 020 TIM and as a Business Controller at DA Retailgroep BV. In addition, they served as the Penningmeester at Tibet Support Group and as the International Finance Manager at Le Cordon Bleu International. Michèle started their career as a controller at ABN AMRO and later worked as a Finance Manager at Hema. Michèle has also taken on several interim management assignments and was the owner of TholeBojoh.

Michèle Thole attended the University of Amsterdam from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a degree in Economie with a focus on Business Economie en Informatiekunde. Michèle then went on to study at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 1989 to 1991, where they obtained a degree in RC, specializing in Register Controller.
