Waag Futurelab
Tessel van Leeuwen is an experienced project manager currently working at Waag Futurelab since September 2014, where roles have included project management, production, and community management. Tessel's background includes a Master's degree in Urban Management from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, completed in July 2022. Previous roles include support and communication at I-Tour 360 BV, planning and communication at ATHAND BV, and project and communication assistant at Westergasfabriek B.V. Additionally, Tessel has interned at multiple organizations, including BOEi and Tropenmuseum, contributing to projects related to industrial heritage and cultural initiatives. Education was pursued at Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Museology/Cultural Heritage Studies.
