Zeynep Birsel

Zeynep Birsel is an experienced professional in the fields of concept development, project management, and technology transfer. Currently serving as a Concept and Project Developer at Waag since June 2022, Zeynep also fulfills the role of PhD Candidate and Lecturer at Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam since October 2019, focusing on Cultural Economics and collaborations between science, art, and technology. Previously, Zeynep founded and served as an Executive Board Member at NovelBlu Health and Urban Development Technologies Inc. and established IPFlux IP Management Consultancy. Zeynep's extensive experience in technology transfer is highlighted by a significant tenure as Manager of the Office of Technology Transfer at Sabancı University. Zeynep holds a PhD candidacy from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a certificate from Sotheby's Institute of Art in Art as a Global Business.
