György Péter Wáberer

György Wáberer holds a degree in plant engineering from the Faculty of Transportation, Telecommunications and Engineering of the Széchenyi István University in Győr. He has 35 years of experience in the transportation business. He started his professional career at Volán companies and then was the office manager of Volán Tefu. Following the acquisition of the latter, he became the CEO of the company and, as a further expansion step, Hungarocamion Rt., The legal predecessor of Waberer's International Plc., Was acquired. He held the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Waberer's International Plc until its 2016 acquisition by Mid Europa Partners.
