Andy Wenig

Andy Wenig is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in engine platforms and systems engineering. As the Senior Engine Platforms Engineering Manager at Wabtec Corporation since February 2019, Andy directs a team responsible for the development and execution of engine system-level programs across locomotive, marine, and stationary engines, focusing on engineering design, product support, and cost reduction. Prior to Wabtec, Andy held multiple roles at GE Transportation, including Engine Platforms Engineering Manager and Marine & Stationary Engines Engineering Leader, where responsibilities included managing teams and driving new product releases. Andy's earlier career at Cummins Inc. spanned several positions related to engine development, reliability, and applications engineering, culminating in roles such as QSK95 + HSK78G Development Director. Andy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
