David Furedy

David Furedy is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Director and Principal Engineer for Mechanical Advanced Technologies at Wabtec Corporation since September 2021. Prior to this role, David held several positions at GE Transportation from October 2005 to September 2021, including Engineering Manager for Factory Support and Reliability, overseeing a team of 26 engineers across multiple countries, as well as roles in design and productivity engineering for diesel engine components. David began his career at Roush Industries as a Powertrain Development and Test Engineer. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, obtained between 1994 and 1999.
