Kibsa Olivier Kompaore

Kibsa Olivier Kompaore has a strong background in leadership and operations. Kibsa Olivier started their career at Wabtec Corporation in 2007 as a Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), where they managed a team of 160 purchasing and supply chain personnel. In this role, they focused on achieving operational excellence and driving customer value through efficient fulfillment and sourcing plans. Kibsa then took on the role of EC&A COO in 2017, where they provided strategic direction and support in M&A processes, as well as enhancing operational efficiency through coaching and improvement of core competencies. Most recently, they served as the Vice President of the Product Line, leading the P&L of the business line and providing innovative electrification and E-mobility solutions to customers in various industries. Prior to joining Wabtec Corporation, Kibsa had additional experiences in other companies.

Kibsa Olivier Kompaore holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Business from a Business School. They also have a Master's degree in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from ULCO / ISCID. Kibsa has completed executive leadership programs from Hult Ashridge, IMD, and The Wharton School. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in the Wabtec Executive Education Program from Wabtec Corporation in 2023. Kibsa also completed a Master's degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Cantabria in Spain.
