Aaron Johnson

Aaron Johnson has over 30 years of work experience in design and product development. Aaron is currently working as the Senior Director of Design & Product Development at WAC Lighting, Schonbek, and Modern Forms since 2023. Prior to this, they had roles as a Designer at Nambe in 1994 and as a Fine Artist at Aaron Mitchell Johnson Fine Art since 1986. Aaron has also worked as a Director of Design at Cyan Design from 2005 to 2023, Oxygen Lighting from 2003 to 2023, and Quorum Lighting from 1996 to 2023. Additionally, they served as a Professor at North Dakota State University from 1992 to 1994, teaching classes in interior design, furniture design, color theory, and lighting design.

Aaron Johnson earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from The University of New Mexico, where they studied from 1984 to 1989. Aaron later pursued further education and completed a Masters of Science in Design with a focus on Industrial Design at Arizona State University, from 1991 to 1993.
