Shashi Kiran

Shashi Kiran is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Wadhwani Foundation since June 2025. Prior to this role, Shashi held significant positions such as Head of AI & Application Engineering at Altigreen Propulsion Labs from May 2022 to June 2025, and CTO at GiveMeFive.ai from July 2020 to April 2022. Shashi also contributed to Jio as VP of AI Products in the AI Center of Excellence from January 2018 to March 2020, and led engineering efforts at INVAR Studios from January 2016 to January 2017, where the company was awarded the Lumiere Award for innovative VR technology. Shashi's academic background includes degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering from the National Institute of Engineering Mysore and the University of Mysore, completed between January 1996 and January 2000.
