Kate DeRosa is a research scientist at Wadsworth Center, NYS Department of Health, since September 2021. With extensive experience in research and education, Kate previously served as a postdoctoral researcher at Binghamton University and held roles as an instructional support technician and genetics contractor. A significant part of Kate's early career involved positions such as project manager/research assistant at Rutgers University’s Center for Human Evolutionary Studies and an intern at the American Museum of Natural History. Kate holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical and Biological Anthropology and a Master of Arts in Anthropology from Binghamton University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Evolutionary Anthropology and Biological Sciences from Rutgers University.
