Sufian Hafiz

Sufian Hafiz serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Wafi Energy, Shell's brand license partner in Saudi Arabia, since June 2022, overseeing financial reporting, management, strategy, treasury, and control framework implementation. Prior to this role, Sufian held various positions at Shell from November 2008 to May 2022, including Retail Trading & Supply Finance Manager, where responsibilities included financial reporting and risk management for Shell Pakistan's largest business unit. Sufian also managed financial planning for the Middle East and Central Asia region, developed pricing strategies for Shell Lubricants in Pakistan, and contributed to governance and internal controls. Prior experience includes roles at Unilever as a Demand Planner and at Capgemini as a Management Consultant. Sufian holds a Master of Accounting Science and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
