Marleen Hermelink

International Agrosystems Researcher at Wageningen Plant Research

Marleen Hermelink currently holds the position of Marketing and Product Development at Chocolate del Caribe, focusing on importing fine flavour couverture from Costa Rica to Europe. Additionally, Marleen serves as an International Agrosystems Researcher at Wageningen Plant Research, conducting research on topics such as climate change impact on food security and sustainable healthy diets. Previous experience includes working as a Decision Analysis Researcher at TNO, where multi-value decision methods for sustainable energy investment were developed, and internships at Vitalis Biologische Zaden B.V. and Agrics East Africa. Marleen's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Plant Sciences and a Master of Science in Biosystems Engineering from Wageningen University & Research, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering. Marleen has also studied at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and completed high school with an International Baccalaureate at Lincoln School.
