Emily Trant

Emily Trant serves as the Chief Impact Officer at Wagestream, where leadership roles have included Head of Impact & Inclusion and Director of Strategic Projects since April 2021. Wagestream specializes in financial wellbeing and inclusive design, supported by notable early charity investors aimed at enhancing financial wellness for everyday individuals. In addition, Emily is a Faculty member at ImpactVC, which focuses on leveraging venture capital for social and environmental impact. As a Visiting Fellow at Zinc, Emily supports founders in creating scalable solutions to societal challenges, particularly in financial resilience. Prior experience includes co-founding Touco, where efforts were directed toward assisting individuals with long-term mental health conditions in managing finances. Previous positions also include COO roles at Funding Options and extensive management of web strategies at CMC Markets, complemented by freelance consulting. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of British Columbia.
