Courtney Harrison is an advisor at Waggl, a company that provides an engagement platform for employees. Prior to Waggl, they were with Medius Advisory Group. Before that, they spent five years at Juniper Networks, where they held various positions, including VP of Learning & Organizational Effectiveness, Global HR Partner, and Executive Leadership.
During their time at Juniper Networks, Courtney worked with the CEO to create a better understanding of how to leverage the organization’s informal networks to drive business growth and great customer experiences. Together they studied how to drive faster change and improve innovation through the intentional convening of critical informal networks. Their work was profiled in Talent Management Magazine.
Courtney is passionate about connecting networks to drive learning, inspiration, innovation, and retention. Courtney was also proud to collaborate on the design, infrastructure, and removal of the traditional performance management system, including ratings. In its place, they executed a more fluid, timely, and motivating process of performance consulting.
Other accomplishments include co-designing and executing the company’s learning, leadership, and organizational effectiveness strategy; leading the Global Women’s Initiative to improve the pipeline of women joining Juniper, as well as retaining and promoting top female employees and engineers; and co-leading many of Juniper’s most critical business projects, processes, and global teams with the aim of continuous innovation systems-thinking.
Courtney Harrison has a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Marketing from Penn State University, an MBA in Human Resources from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business, and a bachelor's degree from Lawrence Academy.
