Daniel Filippini

Daniel Filippini serves as the Product Owner for Research and Sensorics at WAGNER Group GmbH since January 2020. Prior experience includes a five-year tenure as a Professor in Applied Physics and Head of the Division of Sensor and Actuator Systems at Linköping University, where contributions encompassed developing innovative biosensing technologies and enhancing optical device performance. Additional positions held at Linköping University involved significant research activities, including leading the Optical Devices Laboratory. Earlier roles included PhD scholarships at the Universities of Tübingen and Buenos Aires, and a research and development engineer position at the National Institute of Industrial Technology. Daniel Filippini's academic qualifications include a Docent in Applied Physics, a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, complemented by an Electrical Engineering degree.
