Satyak Babar

Satyak Babar has a strong background in software engineering and backend development. Satyak is currently working at Wahed as a Backend Engineer, where they focus on expanding the company into new markets and developing new products. Satyak primarily uses Golang and works with technologies such as React Native, GraphQL, K8s, Docker, AWS, Kafka, ElasticSearch, and Redis to support the event-driven and asynchronous architecture.

Before joining Wahed, Satyak worked at Visa as a Sr. Software Engineer. In this role, they were involved in a project to transition the company's monolithic architecture to microservices. Satyak also contributed to the creation of snapshot and sandbox features in K8s and played a role in changing the project's log pipeline. As a Software Engineer at Visa, they developed Observability SDKs using Go language and implemented caching mechanisms using the StatefulSet model of Mysql-Operator. Satyak also contributed to automation using Ansible and Scalable Run and was involved in security assessments of project components.

Earlier in their career, Satyak gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Taikisha Engineering India Ltd., where they worked on EPICOR ERP to add an attendance module. Satyak created a module to incorporate the attendance system for the company's workers and used the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) for development.

Satyak Babar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2019.
