Nigel Edelshain has a strong background in sales and digital marketing. Nigel started their career as a Microchip Designer at Texas Instruments in 1986. From 1995 to 1998, they worked as a Senior Account Executive at Computer Associates. Then, from 1998 to 2001, they served as a Sales Manager at Starpoint Solutions, where they sold projects to major financial firms.
In 2001, Edelshain became the CEO of an Outsourced Telesales Company and also worked as a Blogger, focusing on B2B Sales. Nigel provided sales training on Sales 2.0 and Social Selling approaches.
From 2006 to 2011, they worked at Wainscot Media as the Director of Digital Media, where they developed and launched websites and blogs for the company's magazine titles.
In 2011, Edelshain joined SocialExtract Corporation as the VP of Sales, responsible for selling into major accounts and managing the sales team.
Since 2012, they have been working at Wainscot Media as the VP of Digital. In this role, they are responsible for the digital P&L and all aspects of marketing, delivery, and operations. The company focuses on using content marketing to grow relationships with existing clients and generate new ones, with a particular emphasis on digital content marketing techniques such as SEO, digital advertising, and social media programs.
Nigel Edelshain pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Microelectronics from The University of Edinburgh, completing their studies from 1982 to 1986. Later, they enrolled at The Wharton School, where they obtained their MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurial Management from 1991 to 1993.
