Gill Smith

Gill Smith is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in media relations and public relations. Currently serving as the Senior Communications Manager for Media Relations at John Lewis Partnership since May 2021, Gill also holds the position of Senior Public Relations Manager for Corporate PR at Waitrose & Partners since October 2001. Previous roles include Communications Manager at Oxford City Council and Education Correspondent at Oxford Mail and Times Limited. Gill's academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in History with English Literature from the University of Edinburgh, a Postgraduate Diploma in Newspaper Journalism from City St George’s, University of London, and a CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from Oxford College of Further Education.
