Kathryn Llewellyn is an accomplished leader in international development with over 19 years of experience. Currently serving as Managing Director at Keep a Child Alive and as a Consultant with Thrivefor, Kathryn employs expertise in strategy, carbon trading, mergers, safeguarding, and campaigns to assist organizations worldwide. Kathryn also acts as a Board Advisor to the Waitrose Foundation, contributing to community improvement initiatives since 2005. As a co-founder of Positive Women, Kathryn has been instrumental in empowering women and children in Africa and the UK through educational support and resource generation. Previously, Kathryn held the position of CEO at United Purpose, where significant accomplishments included increasing outreach to over four million individuals annually. Other notable roles include Executive Director at The GREAT Initiative and International Development Director at The One Foundation. Kathryn holds an MSc in International Development Management from Swansea University and a BA in History from the University of Reading.
