Sergio dos Santos

Sergio Dos Santos has a diverse work experience in the field of Data Science. Sergio is currently working as the Head of Data Science at Wakam since 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Directeur R&D Mathématiques et Data Science at Smart Impulse from 2018 to 2020. At Smart Impulse, they led the strategic vision for Mathematics and Data Science and was responsible for defining the R&D strategy and managing projects. Sergio also worked at Axtrid, where they held multiple roles including Responsable de Business Unit DATA SCIENCE, Directeur général adjoint / Directeur R&D Data Science, Responsable du Pôle "Modélisation et traitement de Données," and Ingénieur de recherche. Before that, they worked as an Ingénieur de recherche at SEGIME and as a Chargé de recherche at CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives. Sergio also served as a Chargé de recherches et de cours at the University of Leicester.

Sergio Dos Santos completed their PhD in Astrophysics from Université Paris Cité from 1995 to 1999.
